After complying with SECP requirements, PGL qualified for issuing COls. Since April 2003, PGL-COls are on sale and attracting prudent investors from amongst individuals, businesses and the corporate sector. Our preferred minimum investment is Rupees 250,000 and above.

The COls, which are redeemable at the investors' convenience subject to the rules governing their issuance, are available for maturities of 3, 6 and 12 month periods, and carry competitive rates of profit. Profit rates on COls are changed as often as necessitated by changes in comparable investment paper and the company issues announcements to that effect on CO Is to be sold thereafter. Rates committed on COIs issued earlier usually remain unchanged during their period up to maturity but being a share out of this company's changing profit, remain subject to change.
